  2. Take 100 ml olive oil
  3. Take 1 pinch salt

  6. Take 6 medium potatoes (peeled and sliced)

  8. Prepare 2 fillets salted cod (about 600 grams)

  1. Soak the salted cod in water 24 hours before cooking. changing the water 2 or 3 times.
  2. Remove the cod fillets from the water and drain then dab with some kitchen towels.
  3. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C/400°F.

  6. Add the onion, garlic, salt, chilli and black pepper. fry until lightly browned.
  7. Place the cod fillets on the pre-heated tray, skin facing upwards.
  8. Add the onion to the tray, making sure you coat the fillets with the onion and oil.
  9. Cook for 20-25 minutes, the skin should be nicely brown when its cooked.
  10. Stir every so often so it doesn't stick to the tray.
  11. While that is baking, fry the sliced potatoes in a deep fat fryer.
  12. Add the potatoes to the tray, and bake for a further 10 minutes.
