The ingredients needed to make Bombay biryani:
  1. Prepare 1 cup Oil
  2. Get Onion 3 slice (medium size)
  3. Get 1 cup Yogurt
  4. You need 1 kg Rice
  5. You need Potato 2_3 cubes
  6. Provide Tomato 3_4
  7. Get 1 sachet SHAN Special Bombay Biryani Masala
  8. Provide 1 kg Meat
  9. Get 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
Steps to make Bombay biryani:
  1. STEPS OF COOKING: - Fry onions in hot oil until golden. Add tomatoes and fry until oil seperates. - Add meat, Ginger garlic paste, yogurt, potatoes and SHAN Special Bombay Biryani Masala. Stir fry for 10 minutes.
  2. Add water (Beef/Lamb 4 cups, Chicken 2 cups). Cover and cook on low heat until meat tender. Then increase heat and stir fry until oil separates from gravy.
  3. Separately: In 15 cups/ 3 liters of boiling water, stir in 3 tbsp. of shan salt and soaked rice. Boil rice until ¾ cooked. Remove and drain thoroughly.
  4. Tips: For meat, use breast, ribs & shoulder cuts. - Spread half rice in pot and pour meat curry. Top with remaining rice. Cover pot and cook on low heat until rice is fully cooked (5-10 minutes). Mix before serving.
