  1. In a pan add oil let it heat then add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, curry leaves and asafoetida let it splutter then add grated ginger, green chillies and onion saute well
  2. Add rava then mix and saute for a minute add salt, turmeric powder mix and fry well till rava changes colour..
  3. Once done transfer it into mixing bowl add curd, coriander leaves mix well then add water according to the consistency of batter keep aside for 15 min. Then add soda if required then add water and mix well..
  4. Grease idli pans pour the batter and cook in a steamer till done.. once done serve with coconut chutney..
  5. In a mixer jar add coconut powder, onion, few curry leaves, chilli, coriander leaves, tamarind, as per taste salt, add water and grind it into fine paste
  6. In a pan add oil let it heat then add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves, add chutney and mix well adjust water don't boil it just mix it and serve it with idlis..
