The ingredients needed to cook Kofte Aaloo:
  1. You need Kofta:
  2. Provide Mince 1-1/2 kg (mince for kebab)
  3. Take Onion 2 large (grind)
  4. Get Green chilli 10 (grind)
  5. Take Fresh coriander 1-cup
  6. Take Garam masala powder 1-tsp
  7. You need Red chilli powder 1-tsp
  8. Take salt 1-tsp
  9. Use coriander powder
  10. Prepare cumin powder
  11. Get Curry:
  12. Take onions 2 large (grind)
  13. You need tomatoes 3 large (grind)
  14. Provide potatoes 9 small (peel and cut in half)
  15. Use ginger & garlic paste 2-tbs
  16. Use red chilli powder 1-1/2-tsp
  17. Use salt 2-tsp
  18. Prepare turmeric 1-tsp
  19. Get cumin powder 1-1/2-tsp
  20. Provide coriander powder 1-1/2-tsp
  21. Provide oil
  22. Get cumin seeds 1-tsp
  23. Get black cardamom
  24. Prepare cinnamon stick 3 small pieces
  25. You need fresh coriander
  26. You need green chilli
  27. Get garam masala powder 1 tbs (levelled)
Steps to make Kofte Aaloo:
  1. In a bowl add mince, salt, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, fresh coriander, onion, green chilli mix well. Now wet your hands is water so the mince dose not stick to your hands and make balls and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pot add onion paste, ginger & garlic paste and fry till golden on high flame. Then add cumin seeds, black cardamom, cinnamon stick and fry for a minute. Add all the powder spices under curry, tomato paste and cook on high flame till the oil comes on the surface.
  3. Now add the potatoes mix and add water 5 large glass(if u like the curry thick add less water), wait for a boil on high flame. - When boils add the koftas and cook for 15 minutes on high flame. - Garnish it with fresh coriander, green chilli, garam masala powder mix and cook for only 3 minutes more. Serve hot.
