Steps to make Chhena aloo tarkari:
  1. Grind all the ingredients for making the masala.
  2. Put the milk in a vessel and allow it to boil and when it starts boiling then add the vinegar into it to curdle the milk.
  3. Strain the chhena from the whey and mix besan, slight salt and chilli powder to make small vada shapes and dip fry them in oil and keep them aside.
  4. In s kadai put oil in it followed by bay leaf and chopped onion.
  5. When they become translucent then add the masala paste,dhania powder,turmeric powder,salt in it and cook it for sometime till the masala separates the oil.
  6. Then add the chopped tomato and cook it for sometime.
  7. Cut the boil potatoes in cube sizes and add them to the masala paste.
  8. Cook it for atleast 5 minute in low flame
  9. Add water into it and allow it to boil for sometime and then add chhena vadas in it and cook for another 2-3 minute.
  10. Switch off the flame and garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
  11. Serve hot with pooris or parathas or roti or rice.
