  1. Fry urad dal bari till ligt red and kept aside..
  2. Heat oil in a kadai for 2-3 minutes..Add bay leaves and cumin seed.
  3. Add chopped bottle gourd with salt, turmeric powder and green chilli, then mix properly in same order..
  4. Cover the kadai and allow to cook till the bottle gourd becomes tender
  5. Bottle gourd generally generates lots of water. While cooking your aim should be to dry up the water that it generates.Cover and cook it on slow heat until water dries up.
  6. Add the fried baris and cover the pan with lid.. cover it for 2 mins.
  7. Now add coriander leaves and turn off the flame and now served with hot plain rice..
